Splendid Spoon plant-based meals

Want in on one of my favorite meal discoveries? I’ve been taking some help from Splendid Spoon and am loving the ease it’s giving me for breakfast and lunch.

If you’ve been with me a while, you know that I cook just about every meal EVERY day for me and my family of 5. I love the benefits of home cooked food – fresh ingredients, delicious flavor and healthy nutrition. That’s why I’m so excited to discover Splendid Spoon and their flavorful plant-based meals. Their smoothies, bowls and soups are made just the way I cook for myself with only whole foods and plant-based ingredients.

I plan my Splendid Spoon meals into my meal plan just like I do the rest of my meals. I have found their prepared smoothies, bowls and soups to be the perfect meal solutions for busy days when I have limited time to eat (or meal prep) or when I need something easily portable that I can eat on the go. (Try for yourself here and get $25 off.)

Smoothies are my new favorite breakfast! I have been alternating them with my green juices in the mornings. As summer nears and the kids start begging me for popsicles, I’ve been inspired to turn my favorite smoothie recipes into pops. Why not? Green smoothie blends are too tasty to restrict to just sipping. It’s easy to pour the sweet and fruity liquid mixes into your favorite molds and freeze for an afternoon or dessert treat. Or why not mix it up even further and enjoy one of these smoothie pops for breakfast? My kids might think I’ve really gone nuts. Ice cream for breakfast? Yes!!

I’ve rounded up a few slurp-worthy smoothie recipes that would taste just as refreshing frozen on a stick as poured in a glass. I dare you to try one for breakfast!

5 Smoothie Recipes That Make Great Popsicles

This kale-riffic smoothie by The Blender Girl, Tess Masters, is full of nutrients and flavor! It gets its sweetness naturally from pitted dates. As its name suggests, this blend is perfect for standing in as a popsicle.

2. Mint Chip Superfood Smoothie

3.  Cherry Limeade Smoothie

Who else is eating smoothie popsicles for breakfast?!!
